PENSION & OTHER RETIREMENT BENEFIT
(w.e.f. 27.04.2010)

( i )    Rs. 7000/- p.m. for service for a period of five years plus Rs. 300/- p.m. for every additional year of service.(w.e.f. 27.04.2010)

        Provided that where a member  has been   prevented  from  serving  as such  for  five    years due to the dissolution of Legislative Assembly or where a member having been elected in a bye-election has not been able to serve for five years will also get pension.

( ii )  Medical allowance of Rs. 5000/- p.m.

( iii )  Free Medical treatment of Government  Hospitals are also available to Ex-MLA's.

( iv )  From 3.10.2007 every person entitled to pension shall be provided  Railway Coupons which shall entitle him to travel by first class or by second class air conditioned sleeper coach with the spouse or an attendant.

(a) Within the State without any limit restriction.

(b) Outside the State only to extent of three thousand Kms. per financial year.

        There shall be paid a pension of rupees 5000 per month, to the spouse, if any or dependant of any member who dies during his term of office as such member for a period of five years from the date of his death.
